Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence and maintain a safe environment across government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings.

The role requires professionalism, situational awareness, and excellent customer service, with shifts on Monday and Tuesday 8am-4pm. Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarms, controlling access, reporting incidents, and supporting SSC's G.E.T.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law.
• One year of security experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient basic computer skills (e.g., report writing, Microsoft Office).
• Ability to follow post orders and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
