Job summary

Honeywell is hiring a Customer Facing Project Manager to scope projects, develop proposals, and drive services and training while keeping scope, timeline, and budget in check.

You will lead cross-functional teams, monitor performance, and act as the liaison among Support, Product Management, and R&D to ensure successful delivery across programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Project Management experience required.
• Must have prior customer facing experience with strong communication skills.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership within a matrixed organization.
• 2+ years of experience defining, estimating and scheduling project work.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience managing project financials (PO burn rate).

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly integrated status of all project activities including scope, issues, risk, and finances.
• Perform performance monitoring, reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Identify and escalate critical issues promptly.
• Review team deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Ensure actions to deliver complete scope and desired quality.
• Keep project plans and minutes updated and communicate next steps.
• Serve as single point of contact for Support, PM, and R&D.
• Support PMO initiatives and update relevant SOPs.
• Adhere to AGILE and SDLC processes.

Job Description

The Customer Facing Project Manager will use expert skills to scope projects, develop proposal documents, generate demand for services and training as well as ensure issues are resolved and kept within budget and timeline. The Customer Facing Project Manager will be familiar with validation documents and procedures.

Your prominently developed skills in business process operations and improvement activities will be on display. Bring your established record of managing multiple and competing priorities along with your proven leadership and people management skills to an established leader in the Quality Management Software industry.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly integrated status of all project related activities - including project status, issue resolution, risk management and financial status.
• Conduct performance monitoring, information, and reporting; help diagnose root cause of problems.
• Identify and escalated critical issues in timely manner.
• Review documentation and deliverables from project team to ensure quality delivery of services.
• Ensure teams are taking corrective action as necessary to deliver complete scope, desired quality and timeliness of customer projects and strategic programs.
• Keep team apprised via project plans, meetings and discussion minutes of project tasks identified, tasks to be completed, and work not completed.
• Act as a single point of contact within the project for Support, Product Management and Research & Development.
• Support Sparta PMO initiatives and assist with relevant SOP updates.
• Ensure adherence to common processes, such as:
  • AGILE implementation methodology
  • Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of Project Management experience.
• Must have prior customer facing experience and strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation) negotiation, influencing and relationship skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership within a matrixed organization, managing cross-divisional projects and building effective cross-functional teams and relationships.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience working with Project Teams defining, estimating & scheduling project work to achieve project scope and ensure resource allocation is mapped to requirements.
• 2+ years Demonstrated experience managing project financials including the PO burn rate throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience working with subcontractors during all phases of program lifecycle
• Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP and other business tools used in the execution of subcontracts management activities
• Bi-lingual- Spanish

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,600 - $106,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
