Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and numerical skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while delivering prompt and friendly service.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide change; resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting; maintain checkout areas clean.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and product locations; communicate with front end manager.
