Job summary

Northwest Bank Webster, NY is seeking an Universal Banker to deliver exceptional customer service at every touch point, act as the single point of contact for a wide range of banking needs, and guide lobby flow. You will handle deposits, payments, card replacements, and disputes while identifying opportunities to open accounts and tailor solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Less than one year Banking and/or retail experience
• Or Less than one year Sales experience or Customer Service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their experience
• Build relationships and retain customers through service excellence
• Fulfills financial needs and recommends solutions
• Process deposits, payments, checks, and other transactions
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to experts
• Partner with Financial Advisors and other bankers
• Engage in outbound calling to generate referrals
• Develop proficiency in bank systems and digital tools
• Meet financial center goals and ensure follow-up items are completed
• Create a welcoming environment and foster teamwork
• Provide coaching on digital capabilities and transactions
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Navigate Office software to maximize efficiency
• Work as part of a team
• Operate on-site equipment
