Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn validated AI solutions into customer deployments. You will work directly with clients to implement workflows, integrate enterprise systems, and demonstrate acceptance against criteria.

You will adapt reusable components, configure environments and instrumentation, and diagnose integration and model issues. A Bachelor's degree is required with Python/TypeScript experience and cloud deployment skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-facing software or AI implementations from requirements through deployment and handover.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and integrating enterprise APIs, authentication, data sources, and business workflows.
• Experience developing or adapting agent workflows, model integrations, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud or enterprise environments and configuring access, secrets, and security controls.
• Experience building customer-specific test and evaluation suites and validating results against quality and performance thresholds.
• Ability to instrument end-to-end and use traces, logs, and metrics to troubleshoot behavior, integrations, latency, and cost.
• Ability to prepare deployment and rollback procedures, runbooks, inventories, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Ability to manage implementation dependencies and secure explicit acceptance of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Turn validated AI solutions into customer deployments and demonstrate acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with customers to implement workflows and integrate enterprise systems.
• Adapt reusable components, configure environments, and diagnose integration and model issues.
• Prepare deployment, rollback, and enablement materials and handover to operational owners and Customer Success.
