Job summary

Dialpad is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers, turning qualified AI opportunities into live, production-ready agent deployments. You will work at the intersection of customer workflow design, applied AI engineering, and enterprise integration to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will collaborate with customer stakeholders, internal teams, and product partners to design, build, evaluate, deploy, and stabilize AI agents in real operating environments, translating ambiguity

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI/agentic systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of AI patterns, LLMs, retrieval systems, and orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go for integrations.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer opportunities into live AI deployments and production-ready systems.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and product partners to design, deploy, and stabilize agents.
• Develop orchestration logic, prompts, retrieval flows, and workflow rules for client needs.
• Implement integrations with enterprise data sources, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
• Define evaluation criteria, guardrails, and production readiness metrics.
• Lead go-live activities and first-shift stabilization with rapid issue resolution.
• Document patterns, runbooks, and post-deployment improvements for scale.
