Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is seeking a customer service representative to support the Charleston region and beyond. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer care and coordinating field service logistics with a collaborative team.

Two years of relevant experience and strong communication skills are required. Expect to handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate customer records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service and/or field service logistics experience.
• Strong computer skills – MS Office, database management, etc.
• Clear, confident, & effective communicator over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Provide unmatched customer service.
• Ensure the service department communicates effectively with customers.
• Learn all services and product offerings to communicate with customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries by email or telephone delivering a strong first impression.
• Answer inbound calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general concerns.
• Make outbound calls to schedule field service appointments and discuss seasonal maintenance.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and build positive rapport on each call.
• Update customer information in the service database during and after calls.
• Collaborate with management to stay updated on product knowledge and policy changes.
• Help improve the company’s bottom line by turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
