Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Roswell, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to create an inviting shopping experience for customers. You will handle merchandise reception, stocking, and transactions with a friendly, proactive approach.

You will unload trucks, process freight safely, maintain store cleanliness, and help protect assets while delivering outstanding service and teamwork with fellow associates and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• High level of integrity required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise and unloading trucks.
• Processing freight in a safe manner according to productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
