Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at our Solomons location to greet customers, answer questions, and assist at the checkout. You will operate the front end scanner and cash register, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions while following PPE, health, and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, store knowledge, and friendly service, with part-time hours and an hourly wage range. Training and benefits are provided as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to follow company policies and work safely with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front end scanning equipment and cash register.
• Bag merchandise and ensure accurate checkout; collect payments and coupons.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and security; prevent overages/shortages.
• Follow tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines and health standards.
• Keep work areas clean and in compliance with health and OSHA requirements.
