Weis Markets in Maryland seeks a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and assist with checkout. You will operate the front-end scanner and cash register, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions while following tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines.

You will stay informed on weekly ads, maintain sanitation, follow health and OSHA rules, and work with coworkers to keep the department running smoothly. PPE must be used, and you may assist in other departments.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to handle transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with questions or concerns.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise and manage checkout.
• Ensure accurate transactions, handle cash, checks, electronic payments and coupons; comply with tobacco/alcohol sale rules.
• Stay informed about weekly ads and promotions to answer questions.
• Maintain department sanitation and adhere to health/OSHA guidelines.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to keep the store running smoothly; follow PPE requirements.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
