Job summary

Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta Company is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to act as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, orders, and issues with a focus on accuracy and empathy.

You will work closely with sales, production and logistics to ensure timely delivery and resolution of problems, while maintaining detailed records in ERP/EDI systems. This role requires clear communication and a proactive service mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in ERP/EDI systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and EDI in a timely manner with accurate information.
• Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments and managing returns.
• Investigate and resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge including ingredients and allergen information.
• Collaborate with sales, production and logistics to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain records in ERP/EDI and generate ad hoc reports as needed.
