Job summary

MANE, a 5th generation French family-owned business in flavors and fragrances, is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist. You will manage food and catering for the Development Center, coordinate events, and ensure clean, well-equipped spaces for visitors and staff.

The role works with internal teams and external contractors, coordinating meals, inventory, and front-desk support. A high school diploma and at least one year in food service and custodial work are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year in food service.
• At least 1 year custodial experience, industrial or construction background preferred.
• Flavor industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and order food and beverages for customer visits and events.
• Oversee cafeteria and setup for meetings and Town Halls.
• Maintain conference rooms, break areas, and lobbies for cleanliness.
• Assist with office supplies and inventory, including shelves and carts.
• Support front desk and handling mail when needed.
• Assist with special needs for Sensory, Consumer Insights and Marketing groups.

Customer Experience Specialist

The Customer Experience Specialist manages food and catering for the Development Center Building, including customer visits, guests, Town Hall meetings, and other assigned meal needs. This person also keeps specific areas of the building clean, including the break areas and main conference rooms. The role works with all internal employees and external contractors, vendors, auditors, customers, and guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Food and Catering

• Coordinate and order food and beverages for customer visits, events, Town Halls, internal meetings, and other meals as needed
• Ensure timely delivery and handle setup, including decoration, cutlery, plateware, and room or area setup and teardown
• Oversee the cafeteria during customer visits to ensure food reserved for guests remains available for them
• Assist with café setup and teardown for specific events
• Maintain the Meals/Catering Tracking Spreadsheet
• Reconcile all meal receipts in Concur and SharePoint
• Maintain cutlery inventory and reorder as needed

Facilities and Cleanliness

• Maintain the Customer Experience conference rooms - wipe tables, counters, and glass boards, and sweep or mop floors
• Keep conference room refrigerators stocked with soda and water
• Clean and maintain the break areas, lobby and main conference rooms
• Help with additional cleaning and other tasks as needed during downtime

Supplies and Inventory

• Coordinate with the office supply vendor to ensure necessary supplies are on hand
• Order and restock office supplies from the approved vendor
• Unbox, organize, and shelve new stock when it arrives each Thursday
• Order and maintain inventory of Customer Experience supplies and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and serviceability
• Assist the Sr. Shipping and Receiving Coordinator with consumable stocking and distribution for the sensory and lab groups

Front Desk and Administrative Support

• Serve as backup at the front desk for overflow work
• Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate department or employee
• Create monthly birthday cards and distribute them to the appropriate Human Resource Business Professional
• Assist the Sensory, Consumer Insights, and Marketing groups with special needs

Other

• Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience
• Minimum 1 year of custodial experience with industrial or construction backgrounds preferred
• Flavor industry experience preferred
