Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a polite, professional manner and help resolve questions or concerns.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register, bag merchandise efficiently.
• Ensure accurate checkout, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures and security measures.
• Be familiar with weekly ads and promotions to answer customer questions.
• Maintain department sanitation, follow cleaning schedules, and meet health/OSHA requirements.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and improve performance.
• Use company PPE and assist in other departments as needed.
