Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in Greenville, SC. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and ensure store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and prior customer service experience in retail or similar settings. Physical lifting and mobility are part of the job, with opportunities to contribute to a courteous, efficient store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physically capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned*.
