The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Associate for our HomeGoods store in Silverdale, WA. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean store, and support operations across departments to meet business needs.

You will promote loyalty programs, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive store culture. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and recovery standards for the sales floor and store.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
