Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to be the voice of our company, delivering exceptional service across phone, email, and other channels. You will resolve inquiries, process service requests, and partner with Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will maintain detailed records, communicate professionally, and collaborate with teammates across markets to balance workloads while delivering consistently great support.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to remain organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with technology and learning new software quickly.
• Bilingual skills are a plus (English/Spanish or English/Creole).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and other channels.
• Respond to inquiries regarding services, billing, accounts, and requests.
• Resolve concerns by identifying solutions and coordinating with Operations.
• Process account changes, new service requests, cancellations, and transactions accurately.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in company systems.
• Communicate clearly and professionally while building customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Coastal markets to balance workloads and provide seamless support.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and expectations exceeded.
• Support special projects and other customer experience initiatives as assigned.

At Coastal, customer service is a team effort. Our Customer Experience Representatives work together to support customers across all of our markets, partnering with Operations to ensure every customer receives timely, accurate, and caring service.

Your Role

As a Customer Experience Representative, you'll help customers by answering questions, resolving concerns, processing service requests, and partnering with Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience. Through our technology and collaborative team approach, you'll support customers across multiple Coastal locations, helping ensure every customer receives the same great service no matter where they are.

What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding services, billing, account information, and service requests.
• Resolve customer concerns by identifying solutions and partnering with Operations to ensure timely follow-up.

• Communicate clearly and professionally while building positive relationships with customers.
• Partner with teammates across all Coastal markets to help balance workloads and provide seamless customer support.
• Follow up with customers, when appropriate, to ensure concerns have been resolved and expectations have been exceeded.
• Support special projects and other customer experience initiatives as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new technology.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus.
