Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a friendly and customer-focused associate to greet shoppers, handle checkout, and assist with daily store operations at our Lehigh County location.

You will operate the front-end POS system, bag items, and ensure accurate transactions while following all policies and safety guidelines. Training will be provided for cash handling, tobacco/alcohol policy compliance, weekly ads knowledge, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or in progress.
• No prior experience required; training provided for cashier duties.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning and cash register, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions.
• Follow store policies and security procedures for cash handling and discounts/coupons.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and store layout to assist customers.
• Follow health, safety, and PPE guidelines; keep department clean and organized.
