Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Bossier City, LA is hiring a Retail Associate to deliver friendly, helpful customer service and keep the store clean and welcoming. You will ring transactions, participate in loss prevention, and support merchandising standards on the sales floor.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and flexibility to meet business needs. Prior retail experience is preferred; lifting heavy objects, standing long hours, and teamwork are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Model customer experience practices for internal and external customers.
• Rings customer purchases/returns and handles cash per procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and floor readiness.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Participates in store recovery and safety initiatives.
• Supports shrink reduction programs and cleanliness standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
