ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate in Virginia. The role focuses on customer service, stocking, cashiering, and store cleanliness to create a great shopping experience. Starting wage is $20.50 per hour, with increases in years 2–5 reaching $22.50.

This is a full-time position averaging 30+ hours per week. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, assisting customers, stocking shelves, and assisting with curbside pickups while following store policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries and concerns.
• Operate POS system to process purchases and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
• Keep shelves stocked and merchandised per planograms.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety per company standards.
• Support management in achieving efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
• Adhere to all ALDI policies and procedures.
