Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger in Washington, IL to create an outstanding customer experience by bagging groceries, keeping a safe, clean environment, and upholding core values.

You will assist customers at checkout, restock shelves, handle seasonal merchandise, and help with loading bags into cars while promoting savings and store safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger bags groceries at checkout.
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and locate products.
• Return merchandise to shelves and manage carts.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and follow safety procedures.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for price checks.
