Job summary

Kroger in Dearborn Heights, MI is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout and throughout the store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags into their car, and maintain clean shelves and floors in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include processing groceries, informing customers about specials, and following safety and food safety guidelines while helping shoppers. Retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Clean spills and pick up trash in store and parking lot.
• Adhere to safety and food safety guidelines.
• Respond to customer questions about products sold in store.
