Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag while protecting contents.
• Follow best bagging practices for different bag types.
• Help remove merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to assist customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and price checks for cashiers.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and locate products as needed.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Keep store and parking lot clean; remove trash and spills.
• Maintain safe environment by following safety procedures and reporting hazards.
• Comply with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report any needed repairs.
• Create welcoming environment and answer questions about products.
