Job summary

Marr’s Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for customers and to coordinate with technicians and staff. This is a full-time, in-office position with standard business hours, focusing on delivering a professional and positive customer experience from the first interaction.

No prior HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience is required, as training will be provided and opportunities for advancement exist

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
• Experience in home services is a plus
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and friendly phone presence
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning new software

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician availability
• Gather accurate information about customer needs and service requests
• Communicate appointment details and updates to customers
• Coordinate with technicians, dispatch, and other office staff
• Respond to customer questions and concerns
• Help resolve customer issues or elevate them appropriately
• Maintain accurate customer and appointment information
• Enter and update information in company software and systems
• Follow up with customers as needed
• Help keep daily schedules organized and running efficiently
• Support outbound customer calls and follow-up efforts
• Present and promote service memberships when appropriate
• Provide a positive customer experience throughout the service process
• Maintain professionalism in a busy environment
• Perform other administrative and customer-support duties as needed
