Job description

5743 Smithway Street

Commerce, CA 90040, USA

Description

At Revolution Foods, we believe every child deserves access to fresh, high-quality meals that support their health, learning, and success. Making that happen every day takes more than great food; it takes a team behind the scenes making sure every order, delivery, change, and customer request comes together seamlessly.

That’s where our Customer Experience Coordinators (CXCs) come in.

Think of the CXC as the air traffic controller of our daily customer experience. You’ll be at the center of the action, connecting schools, Account Managers, Operations, Warehouse teams, and other internal partners to keep meal service running smoothly. No two days are exactly alike, so this is a great role for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, communicating with people, and keeping a lot of moving pieces on track.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep a close eye on daily school meal orders, checking for accuracy, participation trends, menu alignment, delivery requirements, bulk quantities, and OVS (Offer vs. Serve) guidelines.
  • Make real-time order adjustments when attendance changes, special events pop up, or schools need something different—and make sure those changes get communicated to the right teams.
  • Be the go-to internal partner for our Account Managers while they’re out supporting schools in the field.
  • Jump in when things don’t go according to plan, coordinating with schools, Operations, Warehouse, and other teams to resolve missed deliveries, shortages, temperature concerns, substitutions, and other service issues quickly.
  • Build strong relationships with school partners through friendly, responsive, and empathetic communication by phone, email, text, chat, and our online portal.
  • Own the follow-through. When an issue happens, you’ll help make sure it’s tracked, resolved, communicated, and closed out—not simply passed along.
  • Coordinate special requests, including alternate delivery windows, menu substitutions, program changes, and other school-specific needs.
  • Keep order changes, delivery exceptions, customer conversations, and service issues accurately documented so our teams have reliable information and we stay audit-ready.
  • Spot patterns in customer feedback and recurring service issues and bring those insights forward so the CX team can improve the overall customer experience.
  • Help bring new customers onboard by entering account information, setting up ordering and delivery details, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure schools are ready for a successful launch.
  • Support Account Managers with the behind-the-scenes work that keeps customer relationships strong, including QBR materials, business reviews, renewal proposals, reports, presentations, and customer documentation.
  • Compile weekly service metrics, trends, and customer insights to help the team understand what’s working, where we can improve, and where customers may need additional support.
  • Participate in CX planning meetings, Account Manager debriefs, and weekly service alignment conversations, bringing your perspective and ideas to the table.
