Weis Markets in Maryland is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and help resolve concerns in a courteous manner. You will operate the front-end checkout, scan items, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions with cash and electronic payments.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, adherence to store policies on tobacco/alcohol, proper sanitation, PPE usage, and teamwork to maintain a smooth department and store operations.

Qualificações

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers warmly and address questions or concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Assist at checkout, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle customer carts.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper handling of cash, checks, and electronic payments.
• Follow store policies on tobacco and alcohol sales; maintain security of cash drawer.
• Keep up-to-date with weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers.
• Maintain department sanitation and adhere to health and OSHA requirements; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Utilize PPE and safety equipment as required; cooperate with team and supervisors to ensure smooth store operation.
• Support other departments as needed.
