Required is a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of cashiering experience; flexibility for a varied schedule is expected to deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months of cashiering experience preferred.
• Experience delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a smile when entering and exiting the store
• Enhance the customer experience by engaging in conversation while providing personalized service and supporting the digital receipt program
• Accurately scan every item and ensure proper payment
• Promote the Scheels Visa card and explain benefits
• Ask customers to sign up for digital receipts
• Balance the cash drawer and operate the register per policies
