Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a part-time cashier who will check out customer merchandise through the POS registers and assist with customer service. You will greet customers, handle transactions accurately, and promote programs such as CLUB Membership and in-store pick-up.

The role requires High School or equivalent, the ability to communicate professionally, and the stamina to stand for long periods while supporting a friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Process transactions at the POS with accuracy and efficiency.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up product.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time.
