Job summary

Paycom - ATS in United States is seeking a friendly cashier to operate the POS register, greet customers, and help shoppers find what they need while staying aware of store promotions and events.

You will understand the store layout, stock impulse and endcap merchandise, and maintain clean shelves. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; you may also load freight and answer calls per store procedures.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail cashier experience a plus.
• Ability to count change accurately.
• Proficient with basic office machines and Excel.
• Professional telephone skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS register and handle transactions accurately.
• Greet customers and assist with finding products.
• Promote current store promotions and events.
• Understand store layout and locate products quickly.
• Stock and stock-endcap merchandise; clean aisles.
• Follow opening/closing procedures; answer phone.
