• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, loyalty offers, coupons
• Adhere to company cash handling limits and loss prevention policies
• Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs)
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons
• Stay current with ads and promotions
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
• Support safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions
• Inspect equipment and report repairs
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions
• Comply with local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Manage conflict professionally and with integrity
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
