Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Devils Lake, North Dakota is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, follow instructions, and interact professionally with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with professional interactions
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
