Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in West Covina, CA to help customers and provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and uphold store standards.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift items; you’ll work as part of a team to deliver friendly service and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
