Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Kenmore, WA to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, stocked store.

The role requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs, be comfortable on your feet, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and repetitively lift.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
