Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ogden, Utah is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a pleasant shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and ensure a neat, secure store.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, unloading merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly service. The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs, standing for long periods, and following store procedures. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional customer interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
