Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, processing purchases, and maintaining store presentation.

The role includes stocking, merchandise receipt, unpaid duties, and ensuring a clean, safe store. You’ll engage customers with friendly service, support store operations, and work with teammates to meet productivity standards. Part-time opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
