Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Merrimack, NH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, process sales, and maintain store presentation. You will assist shoppers, operate the register, and ensure a friendly, safe shopping environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience is preferred. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods while keeping aisles stocked and clean.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash.
