Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks a Customer Service Associate in Jonesboro, AR to deliver a welcoming shopping experience, assist customers, and process purchases at the register. You’ll help maintain stock, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe for shoppers and team members.

The role requires good communication, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and flexibility to work as needed. Part-time opportunities may be available and employee wellness benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Incumbents will follow other instructions and duties as required by supervisor.
