Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, ring up sales, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You will assist shoppers, handle transactions, unload merchandise, and ensure a positive experience. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; the job emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
