RaceTrac is seeking a Store Associate to be at the heart of the guest experience, keeping stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Whether you want part-time flexibility or a full-time career, you’ll gain valuable skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You’ll greet guests, manage the register, restock shelves, and ensure food and beverage items meet quality standards. The role offers flexible scheduling, hands-on training, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Aufgaben

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously.
• Respond to management directions and work across store areas including food service, cleaning, cash wrap, and stocking.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food following safety and quality standards; maintain clean food prep areas.
• Clean all areas of the store and follow safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Ensure shelves are stocked, backrooms and coolers are organized and maintained.
• Operate the cash register; process transactions; handle cash and card payments with accuracy.
• Be the first point of contact for guest concerns and elevate issues as needed.
• Meet guest transaction expectations by managing lines and communicating clearly.
• Follow food safety standards and keep preparation stations clean.
• Inform guests about promotions to raise awareness and engagement.
• Comply with RaceTrac policies and all safety regulations.
• Be a reliable team player, arriving on time and supporting teammates.
• Engage with guests and teammates politely and listening to requests.
