Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. Follow policies to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash registers; bag merchandise efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure transaction accuracy, collect appropriate payment, and follow security and legal guidelines regarding tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Keep work areas clean and meet health and OSHA standards, disposing of trash properly.
• Cooperate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and continually improve performance.
• Utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
