Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Customer Experience Associate is responsible for the following duties, in addition to other tasks as assigned:

• Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. Follow company policies related to customer checkout to enhance satisfaction.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register, including bagging merchandise and assisting customers with their carts.
• Ensure accuracy during transactions, charge customers correctly, and handle various payment methods securely. Follow store and legal guidelines for selling tobacco and alcohol.
• Stay informed about weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department, adhering to schedules and health standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store operations. Strive to improve job performance continuously.
• Utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position currently has no supervisory duties.

Qualification Requirements

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with or without accommodations. Education or experience includes a High School Diploma or GED; no prior experience required.
