Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Colorado LLC in Lochbuie, CO is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store clean and well stocked. You will provide friendly service, answer questions, and help create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include operating the register, stocking shelves, unloading merchandise, maintaining safety, and supporting colleagues and leaders to ensure efficient store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
