Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Colorado LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock and maintain store cleanliness, and help unload merchandise.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience is preferred. You will work at a store location in Colorado, with duties including lifting 30–50 lbs and maintaining a friendly and professional environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards to maintain store appearance and operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
