Root Insurance is seeking a Staff Analyst to own analytics for the Customer Experience domain and become the analytical driver for policyholder retention. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to shape strategy and ensure decisions are evidence-based.

This role blends deep analytical work with executive-level decision support, turning customer behavior, economics, and product performance into clear actions.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Analytics or related quantitative field.
• Proven track record owning analytics for a meaningful business or product domain.
• Advanced SQL and large datasets experience with BI tools.
• Proficiency with Python or R for statistics and modeling.
• Deep expertise in experimental design and causal inference.
• Strong business acumen to quantify impact and guide decisions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with senior leadership exposure.
• Experience analyzing customer lifecycle, retention, churn, or payments; insurance/fintech a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own analytics for the Customer Experience domain and policyholder retention.
• Develop metrics, analytical frameworks, monitoring, and business understanding across onboarding, servicing, billing, payments, and cancellations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations to shape strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Define measurement plans and experiments to inform product decisions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and present findings to executives.
• Build reusable analytics tools and standards to raise decision quality.
