Bayer is seeking a Customer Experience Activation Lead in the United States (Missouri, Creve Coeur) to transform Bayer’s customer experience in support of the Commercial Ambition.   • Ensure enterprise-wide execution of customer experience across teams, brands, and markets.
  • Use data, insights, segmentation and analytics to shape experiences and inform decisions.
  • Improve efficiency across key farmer moments by aligning in-person, digital, and partner interactions.
  • Coordinate work across marketing sub-families to support strategic objectives.

Customer Experience Activation Lead

Lead the transformation of Bayer’s customer experience in direct service of our Commercial Ambition, shifting the business to a farmer‑centric, experience‑led growth model that delivers an unparalleled customer experience and drives acquisition, growth, and long‑term brand loyalty; In this role, you operate at the intersection of brand, sales, digital, data, and partnerships to define and scale differentiated experiences for farmers across Bayer’s portfolio; By championing a disciplined, insight‑driven approach to customer engagement, you help ensure Bayer remains a trusted, relevant partner to farmers while unlocking sustainable growth for the business.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Activate the Commercial Ambition through customer experience, establishing a deliberate, farmer‑centric engagement model that drives sustainable growth and retention across Bayer’s portfolio;
  • Lead the evolution toward an unparalleled customer experience by defining the target experience and integrating brand, sales, digital, data, and partner capabilities to deliver it at scale;
  • Set and govern the “what” and the “how” of differentiated customer experiences by farmer segment, enabling seamless omnichannel engagement and consistent long‑term relationship building;
  • Establish disciplined, enterprise‑wide execution of customer experience, ensuring consistency across teams, brands, and markets while strengthening trust and relevance with farmers;
  • Leverage data, insights, segmentation, and customer analytics to shape differentiated experiences, guide interaction strategies, and inform decision‑making in support of Commercial Ambition outcomes;
  • Increase efficiency and effectiveness across key farmer moments by aligning in‑person, digital, and partner‑enabled interactions to address farmer needs and pain points with greater precision;
  • Manage and coordinate work across multiple marketing sub‑families, including product and brand marketing, P&L‑linked portfolio management, advertising and promotional activities to support strategic objectives;
  • Design, develop, and implement strategic marketing programs and pricing strategies across market sectors, utilizing print, broadcast, and digital media to effectively launch, position, and grow Bayer’s offerings.
WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Proven business leadership experience in commercial, sales, marketing, or adjacent roles with direct accountability for growth outcomes;
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing and commercial activation at scale, translating strategy into sustained business impact;
  • Strong capability to lead complex transformation, managing multiple initiatives while maintaining strategic clarity and execution discipline;
  • Solid understanding of P&L drivers and the ability to align customer experience and marketing investments to Commercial Ambition returns;
  • Deep expertise in brand positioning, customer insight, and portfolio strategy, enabling differentiated experiences across segments and farmer types;
  • Advanced strategic, analytical, and systems thinking skills, with the ability to connect insights to decisive action and measurable outcomes;
  • Track record of creative problem solving, driving clarity and simplification in complex, cross‑functional environments;
  • Evidence of translating strategic intent into measurable results through disciplined execution and performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or go‑to‑market roles within agriculture or a similar B2B environment.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $165,920.00- $248,880.00 .Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
