Job description

Our client is a trusted IT infrastructure and managed services provider serving enterprise customers worldwide. Based out of Dallas, they are looking to hire an IT Project Coordinator/Customer Engineer on a Contract basis.

Contract Duration: 6 Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)

70–80% travel (both in state and out of state) is required for on-site installations at client locations. There will be mileage reimbursement for the travel.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Coordinator for IT Projects at assigned location(s)
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in all matters of Technology at assigned location(s)
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with Clients, Vendors, and Project Management Teams as needed.
  • Ensure that all Site standards are met via Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and methodology
  • Perform quality work on all deliverables including deployment and network activities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to install and deploy all field technologies. (POS, Desktop, Label Printers, Office Printers, Kiosks, Tablets, Cabling, and smart hands for Network Equipment).
  • IMAC Services. Perform installation, move, add, and Change for all Supported Equipment at assigned location(s)
  • Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops and any other authorized peripheral equipment
Daily Responsibilities
  • Face-to-face customer service experience
  • Proven IT Support and Field Service experience (7+ YoE)
  • Project Management knowledge, Experience in : Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management
  • Proficient in network topology, familiar with rack and stack (Datacenter, IDF / MDF closets), minor config with assistance (assign IPs and verify network connectivity)
  • Proficient with workplace deployment activities; desktop, monitor, docking station, PC/ Laptop / Thin client and peripherals, VoIP
  • Ability to work efficiently as an individual and lead small or large team as required
