About the Role

We are hiring a Customer Engagement Solutions Architect to join our Marketing Technology & Personalization team. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution. You will be responsible for architecting and delivering personalized, scalable marketing communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and related platforms.

You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineers to translate campaign goals into executable plans—then build and operationalize those solutions end-to-end. If you understand how customer data can be turned into relevant messaging experiences and have the technical chops to bring it to life, this role is for you.

What You’ll Own

  • Architect and implement multi-channel engagement strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud—including email, SMS, push, and journey automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define campaign goals, messaging logic, and audience segmentation strategies.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions with dynamic content and personalized logic.
  • Work closely with data teams to map source systems, transform data, and ensure readiness for campaign use.
  • Drive QA, testing, and campaign deployment in SFMC, with a commitment to accuracy and performance.
  • Apply performance metrics and reporting insights to refine targeting and improve marketing ROI.
  • Manage technical issues independently, resolve blockers quickly, and continuously improve system reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) and data security best practices (e.g., handling of PCI and PII).

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent platforms.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and dynamic content scripting. Liquid scripting a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, relational models, variables, and transformation logic as applied to campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full campaign lifecycle—from discovery and planning through QA, deployment, and optimization.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and aligning technical solutions with business needs.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms and/or customer data platforms (CDPs) is strongly preferred.
  • A strong sense of ownership, paired with the ability to prioritize and execute in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Past success supporting enterprise-level outbound marketing efforts with audience sizes of 1M+ records.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For Washington State, the salary range for this position is $95,600 to $119,300 USD annually, with a midpoint of $107,450. Final compensation and job title will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
