Our incredibly talented team of engineers, innovators, and industry leaders bring years of experience from the top healthcare companies in the world, including: Intuitive, Auris, Stryker, Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, Verb Surgical, Mako, Think Surgical, Medrobotics, and Hansen. We are looking for talented, motivated and ambitious team members to revolutionize robotic surgery.

About The Role:

You will lead training, demonstrations, account launches, and independence assessments while helping put regional sales strategy into practice. Our commercial organization is still in its early stages, so priorities can change quickly. Success here takes initiative, practical problem solving, and a commitment to seeing things through. You will help improve the customer experience and build education programs that grow with the company.

Day In The Life Of Our Customer Education Manager:
  • Work closely with the Area Vice President to plan training, demonstrations, and account launches that support regional sales priorities and customer adoption.
  • Deliver training in person and virtually for physicians and procedure support teams, including practical exercises, skills assessments, and super user training for support staff.
  • Lead Galaxy System demonstrations with Sales and Clinical Sales, tailoring the discussion to customer needs while using approved product messaging.
  • Lead initial account training and support the first day of cases. Document remaining training needs and hand responsibility for ongoing development to the assigned field team.
  • Review readiness records, assess customer skills, and sign off on independence within your assigned authority and Customer Education standards. Address any remaining gaps before certification.
  • Create and update approved training materials, assessments, and digital learning resources with partners across the company.
  • Manage event logistics, equipment setup and testing, and preparation. Follow through after each event, meet deadlines, and use company resources responsibly.
  • Keep training records current and use customer feedback, skills assessments, and program results to improve the quality and effectiveness of our education.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare, including 2+ years in clinical education, clinical specialist, training, or learning and development roles.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the ability to explain complex concepts, teach adult learners, solve problems, and manage projects.
  • Ability to work independently, build relationships across teams, adapt when priorities change, and follow through on commitments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Preferred: Experience in bronchoscopy, navigational technologies, or medical robotics; familiarity with simulation training, learning management systems, or tools for developing educational content.

Additional requirements: Flexibility for occasional travel on short notice and work during evenings or weekends. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Eligibility to work in the United States. Proximity to a major airport is preferred.

Must reside on the U.S. West Coast. Candidates based in San Francisco are preferred.
