Job summary

U-Haul is seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Workers in Cypress, Texas to support our customers at the storage facility. The role involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading containers, and ensuring timely deliveries with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Training is provided for forklift operation, and the team collaborates closely to maintain smooth dispatch and documentation processes. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Adhere to all local, state (provincial) and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery.
• Provide customer assistance, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure that the warehouse storage facility is clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
