Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, energetic Warehouse Worker in Los Angeles to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service. You will operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift, load/unload containers, and assist customers with dispatch and rental systems.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Training is provided, and U-Haul offers health insurance, paid holidays, a 401(k), and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation required.
• Forklift operation is needed (training provided).
• Ability to load/unload storage containers and assist with deliveries.
• Must have valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery and provide customer assistance, including use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U‑Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide documentation for delivery or pickup of goods.
