Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a Break Time Sales Associate to welcome customers, handle fast transactions, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized. You will assist with food preparation, operate POS systems, and help maintain food safety and inventory while providing friendly, efficient service during shifts.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, dependable, with strong communication and teamwork, willing to learn and meet company policies.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18 or older.
Friendly, customer service oriented with ability to work fast paced.
Flexible availability including weekends/holidays.
Reliable transportation to work.
Ability to perform basic math for change and reports.
Willing to learn new concepts and operate a computer.
Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand nine hours.

Responsibilities

Greet and thank customers; provide fast, friendly service and accurate transactions.
Merchandise and stock shelves; maintain cleanliness and pricing accuracy.
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
Work as a team to service customers while following regulations.
Use point of sale systems and other store tech; assist with shift reports.
Assist with training new staff and loss-control activities.
Prepare food items following recipes; monitor time, temps, and portions.
